Account and privacy
How PicTranslate handles your images
What we store, what we delete, who has access. Plain-language summary of the relevant Privacy Policy sections.
The short version: we treat your images as if they were our own private business data. Long-form details — including the full third-party processor list and data residency by region — are in the full Privacy Policy.
FAQ
Where are images stored?+
Original and translated images are stored on encrypted object storage for 30 days, then permanently deleted. The retention period is the same across all plans.
Can I delete my history immediately?+
Yes — open Records, select images and use Delete. Files are removed from object storage typically within a few minutes. Account-level deletion (under Settings → Account → Delete) also triggers full data removal.
Who can see my images?+
You, plus a small number of engineering staff with on-call access to processing logs (used only for debugging failures). No marketing, sales or product team has access to customer content. Images and translations are not shared with other users.
